Summer hours in effect for some Polk State services

As Polk State College transitions to the summer, many of the College’s resources and services will have shorter hours or be closed until the fall.

Beginning this week, the Polk State Bookstore, located on the Lakeland and Winter Haven campuses, will be open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Thursday. Bookstores will be closed Friday through Sunday. There will be no change to online ordering.

On the Lakeland Campus, the Library will open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. The Lakeland Teaching Learning Computing Center (TLCC) will be open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.

On the Winter Haven Campus, the Library will operate from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. The Winter Haven TLCC will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

At the Polk State JD Alexander Center in Lake Wales, TLCC hours of operation will remain the same – Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Online services such as Ask a Librarian will remain available and scheduling testing will remain available.

Dining services through Canteen on the Polk State Lakeland and Winter Haven campuses will be unavailable until the Fall 2024 Semester.
